Countdown to Balik Kampung - 7 days

Yeyyyyy .. one more week for me to balik kampung. My shopping list almost complete uols. Last weekend .. me tak berapa sihat cuz of the cold weather tapi demi family n frens .. ku gagah kan jugak gi Allen Outlet last Sunday .. so that everyone will get something from here. Since Saturday till Sunday .. hujan tak berhenti2 .. teramat la sejuknye. Me tak kena flu lagi tapi symptom2 tu cam nak kena aje. Ari ni baru rasa segar sikit tu pun setelah beberapa jenis ubat ku telan. Harap2 tak teruk la demam ku ini sebab tak larat o nak travel kalu tak sehat kan. Anyway tak sempat or shud I said tak leh nak ambik gambor masa kat Allen Mall bcuz hujan plus me gi pun sorang2 .. so tak cukup tangan la gitu.

Me belum pack lagi beg .. tapi mostly apa yg nak di pack dah di campak kat satu corner la. Friday ni off .. so plan nye baru la nak pack on that day. Some how or rather .. best jugak pack last minute ni .. more thrill katanye. Minta2 tak da barang yg tertinggal ..

Dillards tutup ari ni so ahkak dapatla memanjangkan tido sikit pagi ni. Papa bear kena keje tapi separuh hari aje. Around 12pm .. me keluar kejap to Wal Mart .. nak beli bahan2 for my so call Thanx Giving lunch la konon .. hehe .. gi yang Neighbourhood Market aje cuz malas nak drive all the way to the Super Centre tu. Ari ni temperature drop sgt .. so sejak malam tadi lagi dah sejuk. I think around 41F degrees la kot and petang tadi sempat la tengok snow kejap. Try to take the pic tapi tak clear la.

My in laws ada lunch gathering kat rumah diaorg tapi memandangkan papa bear keje so we all tak balik to Wichita Falls to celebrate with them. So to give my husband the feel of Thanx Giving lunch .. me roast the chicken, with mushroom sauce, meditteranean salad, garlic herb potatos n Better Than S*x cake for dessert. Not bad kan .. bila dah duduk kat sini .. kena la pandai create sendiri memandangkan bukan senang nak cari halal food kan.

sorry la kena tengok pungkuk ayam ... hehe

While having our food, (depan TV) .. sambil menonton football. The Cowboys playing against the New York Jets at Dallas and guess what .. the boys won again today .. yeahhhh .. go cowboys! Oh btw, Dallas Cowboys ni memang selalu play during Thanx Giving Day in Dallas. According to papa bear .. its the American tradition ..

Thats how we celebrated our 1st Thanx Giving in Dallas .. not bad at all ...

Cici's Pizza - 20th Nov

Dua2 org off tapi malas nak masak for lunch .. so kita plan gi makan pizza kat Cici's Pizza .. not far from the house. Tak sure la pulak how much .. sbb papa bear yg bayarkan .. but this is a buffet. Tapi uols tau la .. kitaorg boleh makan only the salad, vegie pizza, cheese pizza n cinnamon rolls aje. Area ni ramai Mexican so majority yg datang makan kat sini depa la. Me tgk diaorg ni cam org kat msia jugak kalu makan buffet style .. setimbun makanan walaupun yg makan nye dua tiga org aje. Very the membazirkan ...

Ingatkan dia dah kenyang .. tak yah masak dinner .. rupa2nye cik abang tu nak makan dinner jugak. Nak tak nak terpaksa la ahkak masak. So me masak la yg ringkas2 aje ..iaitu Fried Macaroni.

Tajuk aje n last entry mesti buat uols gempak kan. Red carpet .. celebration .. for my birthday .. hmmm .. how I wish .. hahaha .. actually that was supposed to be a function kat makeup department. Whoever yg nak attend kena beli tiket for $25 but you can buy anything kat makeup counter. My close fren .. Sonya (she is from Bolivia) keje kat Lancome counter .. so to support her .. I beli la the tiket from her. Plus my birthday happen to jatuh hari ni .. kiranye boleh berangan celebrate sekali. Tu yang dress up sakan tu. Yang lain2 pun sama .. masing2 melaram habis. Ahkak jugak yg maintain dengan baju kurung moden kebanggaan ku. Me perasan jugak ramai customer yg curi2 tengok kat i masa function tu. Maybe depa heran kot .. beli kat mana la baju pompuan ni. Depa tak tau yg pompuan ni pompuan melayu dari malaya .. hahaha. Tapi memang meriah sangat .. altho me tak stay lama pun.

Selamat Hari Jadi .. to me .. semuga panjang umur dan murah rezeki. Yeyy .. today is the day I was born .. Dillards bagi cuti bergaji on birthday .. and tomorrow is my off day .. so dapat la ahkak relax 2 hari straight kan. Papa Bear keje hari ni .. so pagi2 buta sebelum gi keje sempat wish wife tercinta Happy Birthday. Me .. sambung tido la lepas tu. Cant blame me ok .. just imagine if cuaca sesejuk rasa .. harus la tarik selimut balik. After another hour of sleep .. got up n get myself a cup of coffee. Plan ari ni .. memanjakan diri sikit .. get a pedicure .. shopping .. emmm .. not today cuz me ada function nak attend at 5.30pm kat dillards. So get my pedicure done at 2.3opm. Kes nye sebab nak pakai kasut yg terbukak kat depan kan.. so kena la comel sikit kuku kaki ku .. hehe. Pas tu siap2 around 4.45pm and by 5.20 pm selamat sampai di dillards. Baju kurung moden ni me bawak from KL .. tak sangka ramai pulak yg berkenan. My co workers semua kata cantik .. and one of them (Rita) siap cakap .. 'you didnt look like one of us now .. u look like u hv money' .. boleh .. hahaha .. masin mulut rita .. i will have money .. insyallah. Yep they celebrate my birthday .. siap gan red carpet gitu. Pictures for that .. esok ok.

Reached home around 7pm .. tak tunggu sampai party abis pun .. malas .. n want to be with my beloved hubby. For dinner.. just fried chicken aje. Cadangnye nak ke Olive Garden .. pekena Italian food .. tapi dua2 org malas nak keluar. Papa bear got me a card n Ralph Lauren Jeans. Mom in law n Kristina call me to wish me too. Thanx to family n frens yang wish me ye.

My first birtday celebration kat Dallas. Not bad at all ... ;)
